Once again the DEVORA team hosted an event as part of the Auckland Heritage Festival. On Sunday, 1 October from 10 am to 2 pm, real volcano and earthquake scientists ran demonstrations and experiments for the public. The event was sponsored by The University of Auckland, Auckland Council and The Earthquake Commission. Participating outreach groups include those from QuakeCoRE, the Auckland University Geoscience Association (AUGA), and the DEVORA research programme.
