Abstract
An interdisciplinary team from New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Argentina studied the impacts of the June 2011 Puyehue-Cordón Caulle eruption on urban infrastructure, agriculture and public health in Argentina, as well as emergency management of the eruption crisis. Fieldwork (27 February-16 March 2012) focused on the population centres receiving the greatest ashfall (Villa La Angostura, Bariloche and Ing. Jacobacci) and on affected agricultural regions.
